This was a project for the Cheltenham Science Festival 2008. The subject of the festival was taboo, so I decided to bring up the problem of marine pollution in my poster. I found out that a minke whale was found with over 2lb of plastic waste in its stomach - it had eaten them by mistake when searching for food.
